Ataturk University Erzurum Vocational School are taken students with special requirements and students who have got enough points in YGS-2 score type as the result of the exam made by the Higher Education Council Measurement Selection and Placement Center. Programs are also accepted as students through horizontal transfer. These transitions are regulated by a directive and students can switch between diploma programs of different higher education institutions or diploma programs within the same higher education institution only within the previously announced number and transition conditions.
Transitions to college, other higher education institutions, published in the Official Gazette No. 27561 dated 24.04.2010 Higher Education Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree Programs Level Switch, Double Major, Minor and the Regulation on the Principles of the Inter-Agency Credit Transfer, the decisions of the Senate Higher Education Committee are governed by. The adaptation of these students to the training programs is carried out by the relevant unit management boards.

The aim of the training is to train the personnel who are in need of industrial safety and industrial safety and to train the “Occupational Safety Technician” who is able to assume all the occupational safety responsibilities of the business in organizations that are not engineering level in the engineering level.
Our students who graduate from this department are working as "Job Security Technicians" in public institutions and private sector. In addition, the winners of the Occupational Safety Proficiency Test conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center are working as "Occupational Safety Experts".
Students who graduate from this program can transfer to undergraduate program, Emergency Aid and Disaster Management, Business Administration, Business Administration, Health Management or Social Services Departments by Vertical Transfer Exam.
One midterm exam (quiz, homework), final exam and condition examination are given for each course given in the programs. The achievement score of the midterm exam (if any, short term exams and assignments) is 40% and the final exam (or condition examination) is 60%. In order to be able to take the final exam, the student must fulfill the attendance requirements in the regulations. All the exams are evaluated over 100 points and the relative evaluation system is applied in the calculation of the students' achievement grade. In this evaluation; the instructor takes into consideration the statistical results of the scores of the semester / year and the semester / year-end exams of the students who take the course and the grades taken are converted into the 4-letter system within the framework of the principles specified in the regulation. The Weighted Grade Point Average (WGPA), which is formed from the notes received by the student, can not take courses in the next semester for 2 consecutive semesters below 2.00. A student who receives one of the grades AA, BA, BB, CB and CC is deemed to have completed the course. One lesson from DC and DD are evaluated depending on the student's graduation WGPA. If the WGPA of the student is above the success grade, these courses are defined as successful. In the semesters/ years, these letter grades are evaluated with the coefficients in the calculation of WGPA. The FF grade is awarded to the students who have failed the corresponding course. The student who receives FF grade must take the course in the first semester / year and fulfill the attendance and examination requirements. Courses rated with success grades M and G do not participate in the evaluation of WGPA calculation.
In order for the students to graduate from Atatürk University Erzurum Vocational School, they have to successfully complete the courses and credit hours indicated in the curriculum (minimum 100 hours or 120 ECTS) and have completed 30 days of internship work with a weighted average of at least 2.00.
