Students studying at Atatürk University may be exempted from some courses within the framework of certain regulations. If the content of a course taken at another institution is in accordance with the content of the course given at Atatürk University and is approved by the relevant higher school, the student may be exempted from this course

There is a midterm (quiz, homework) and a final exam for each course given in the programs. The effect of midterm exam (short term exams and homework, if any) on the success grade is 40%, and the final exam is 60%. In order to enter the term exam, the student must meet the attendance requirements written in the regulations. All exams are evaluated over 100 points and relative evaluation system is applied in calculating the success grade of the students. In this evaluation; The lecturer of the course takes into account the statistical results of the scores obtained by the students taking the course in the semester / year and semester / end-of-year exams, and the grades are converted into a 4-letter system within the framework of the principles determined in the regulation. Those who have a Weighted Grade Point Average (AGNO) below 2.00 for 2 consecutive semesters cannot take courses from the next semester. A student who gets AA, BA, BB, CB and CC grades from a course is considered successful in that course. DC and DD grades taken from a course are evaluated depending on the graduation AGNO of the student. If the student's AGNO is above the passing grade, these courses are defined as successful. In semesters / years, these letter grades are evaluated with coefficients in the calculation of AGNO. An FF grade is given to students who fail the relevant course. Students who fail the year-end exams are given the right to take the resit exam, and it has a 60% effect on the students' score from the make-up exam. The student who gets the score in the first semester / year of this course has to fulfill the attendance and exam requirements. Courses that are appreciated with success grades M and G are not included in the evaluation in the calculation of AGNO.
In order for the students to graduate from Atatürk University İspir Hamza Polat Vocational High School, they must successfully complete the courses and credit hours (minimum 100 course hours or 120 ECTS) specified in the curriculum, and increase their weighted grade point average to at least 2.00 and be successful in 30 working days of internship.
