Graduates who gain the title of “Civil Defence and Firefighting technician”.Students who graduated from the Civil Defence and Firefighting program is pre-graduate diploma.1-The student is graduated from competencies gained during training courses and modules are showing the degree specified in the annex.2-Student program, completing the competencies acquired during training leaves, classes, modules, given a certificate.3-program given to the professional qualifications, work life, career development, certification programs and request all the other programs are evaluated in transition.
In accordance with relevant regulations set by the board of higher education OSYM.
The applicants who have high school or its equivalent diplomas are placed by OSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center) in accordance with the applicable legislation of YOK (Higher Education Council).
Students are accepted by the YKS exams for the Cıvıl Defense And Fıreman Program.
This 2-year degree program provides students with a basic theoretical and applicable knowledge of civil defense and firefighting. After graduation, the students will be able to work as a rescue technician in the Municipality Firebrigades, Emergency Offices, Rescue Offices or as a firefighter in hotels, in public institutions, in airports, and ports, in industrial zones as well as a technician in companies producing and selling fire safety equipment or a technician for occupational safety and health.

The graduates will be able to continue their study in the four-year degree programs of “social services” with regards to vertical transfer terms.
40 % of Midterms, 60 % of Final exam will determine the student’s GPA. Also the assignments, projects, reports and quizes will be considered for the GPA. The students who fail to applied courses won’t be eligible to take the final exam. If the student repeats an applied course, s/he has to comply with the attendance restrictions.
Graduation can be accomplished once 120 ECTS credits (taken 2years/4 terms) are completed.
