Students are accepted to the program through an exam administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Registration is made by the University.
Exemption and adaptation procedures of students are carried out by the relevant unit management boards in accordance with the relevant Council of Higher Education and Senate decisions, especially the Regulation on Transfer Between Associate and Undergraduate Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer.
To obtain a bachelor's degree, 240 ECTS credits of courses, practice or internship activities must be successfully completed and the weighted general grade point average must be at least 2.00 out of 4.00.
The program provides a four-year undergraduate education that includes theoretical and practical training after high school education, and aims to train students who have the knowledge, skills and equipment needed by the industry.
Program graduates are employed in public or private institutions and organizations depending on the qualifications they have gained.
Those who have completed their undergraduate education can apply for master's or doctoral programs in their own or related fields, provided that they receive a sufficient score from the ALES exam and have sufficient knowledge of the English language.
Students must register for classes at the beginning of the semester and maintain at least 80% attendance in each registered course to be eligible for the final exam. Students will be required to take at least one midterm exam, one final exam, and one make-up exam for each course. All exams are graded out of 100. Students who receive a letter grade of AA, BA, BB, CB, CC, DC, or DD in a course are considered successful. In order to graduate from the program, 240 ECTS courses must be taken and passed, a weighted GPA of at least 2.00 and the internship must be successfully completed.
Training in the program is conducted face-to-face.
