At Ataturk University, full-time students can be exempted from some courses within the framework of the related by laws. If the content of the course previously taken in another institution is equivalent to the course offered at AU, then the student can be exempted from this course with the approval of the related vocational school after the evaluation of the course content
Forestry and Forest Products Programme in the field of forestry in order to obtain a graduate degree program, students must take compulsory and elective courses (a total of 120 ECTS credits) and successful completion of all be at least 2.0 overall grade point average of 4.00, and also must have a training period
Have basic knowledge of the forestry sector, which acts in the field of legislation, the responsibility for solving problems as a team member, equipped with technical issues, the sustainable management of forest resources, knowledge and skills, ecological, economic and social aspects of the operation of the protection and train technical staff can use
Graduates of this program, the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs and Forestry Directorates General for Forest Protection Officer and the private sector working as a technician
The students who are successful in the vertical transfer examination(DGS) conducted by ÖSYM after short cycle graduation can become undergraduate students at the department of Forest Engineering and Forest Industry Engineering in the Faculties of Forestry
80 % attendance is a must for graduate courses. Examinations may be written, oral or both and may include take-home as well as lab and computer work. At least one 1hr mid-term and one 2hr final plus a completion (in case final grades are insufficient) examination is administerd by the instructor. Course grades are based on term work (40 %) and final (or completion) exam (60 %) results. A Course grades are then converted to equivalent letter grades
To complete the program successfully, all the courses in the program (120 ECTS), 4.00 weighted grade point average of at least 2.0 and must successfully complete the internship
