Second cycle
This program will be bachelor graduates who fulfill the requirements of doing Msc in Health Sciences Institute on Midwifery.
Students who have done their Bachelor degree in Midwifery program can be directly admitted to the department.
In order to receive a Master of Science degree in Midwifery students have to successfully complete compulsory and elective courses, and present and defend an original research thesis
To train midwives in international criteria who research in the light of scientific principles, improve and protect women’s health and well-being and fulfill sevices for the purpose of improving the event of illness.
To make the Midwifery a preferable position in national and international level.
The midwives who have done their master degrees in Midwifery can work as manager or clinical midwive, academic staff and project leader in Midwifery.
The students who have done their master degrees in Midwifery can do Ph.D. in Midwifery Doctorate Program.
Success of the student is measured and evaluated through project-papers and final exam. Also, Master's thesis searched for the completion and successful defense requirement.
To have minimum 30 credit (60 ECTS) lectures and comleted them succesfully . Then a thesis on a special topic should be completed and presented verbally in front of the exam committee.
