Those who have successfully completed the Master of Science (MSc) Program in Management Information Systems will have the degree of Master of Science (Management Information Systems Science Expert) in the field of Management Information Systems.
Second Level (Master)
To have at least 55 ALES (Academic Postgraduate Education Exam) score in the type of grade point scale; Equal Weight 60% of the ALES score and at least 55% of the sum of the 40% of the license AGNO's (Weighted Grade Point Average); To be placed in the opening quota in the order to be started from the highest rated point; If the scientific preparatory class is accepted, the scientific preparatory class should be completed within 1 year; Foreign language students are required to have a level of Turkish language proficiency at level B2 (or 70 points out of 100) according to the European Language Portfolio. In addition, students can be admitted to the other universities by horizontal transfer from the same level of Program in Management Information Systems Department. Students graduated from the programs of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics directly; From the Computer Engineering and Industrial Engineering programs of the Engineering Faculty; Students who graduated from the computer related programs of the Faculty of Education (taking into consideration the courses they have taken in the undergraduate program) are admitted to the Master of Science (MSc) Program in Management Information Systems.
Students are required to complete compulsory and elective courses, give a seminar on thesis subjects, compile or successfully present and defend an original work as a thesis in order to obtain a graduate degree in Management Information Systems.
The aim of the Management Information Systems program; to gain the ability of accessing, evaluating, criticizing and interpreting information by doing scientific research to the students. In the field of Management Information Systems, it teaches academic, technical and social knowledge necessary for scientific study and develops ability of research and study individually on the academic field.
Students who complete the Master's Program in the Department of Management Information Systems can apply to the Ph.D.
It is obligatory to attend at least 70% of all courses taken in the graduate programs within the semester. Success; year achievement measurement (homeworks, midterms) and final exam. Exams; written, oral, or both written, oral and / or practical. At least one midterm exam is given for each course. Detailed explanations about the measurement and evaluation of the success of the courses are on the Course Information Package page. The exams are assessed with 100 points. The success grade is calculated by taking 30% of the midterm grade average and 70% of the final exam or 70% of the make-up exam. The graduation score in the Thesis and Non-Thesis Master's programs is at least 65 points out of 100 points, 2 out of 4 (CC). G (Pass) or B (Successful) statement is used in the case of non-credit courses, specialized courses, seminars and dissertation successfully completed. In calculation of average success grade; Courses rated Pass (G), Successful (B) and Exempt (M) are not taken into consideration.
