The students who have successfully completed 4 years of formal education at Agricultural Machinery Department, receive the title of Agricultural Engineer and in their diploma, the statement “graduated from agricultural machinery“ is included.
The candidates who have had the right to be students at Ataturk University Faculties and High Schools in the central exams carried out by T.C. Council of Higher Education, Student Selection and Placement Center matriculate for certain in the time announced by the Rectorship, again with the documents declared by the Rectorship. The candidates who have not matriculated for certain in the time announced lose their rights. Student’s identification cards are given to the students who have matriculated for certain.
Equivalence adopted by the Council of Higher Education institutions can be admitted. High School graduates who are successful in vertical transfer exam to receive a bachelor's degree may be admitted to be able to continue their education. These students learn from vocational high school graduates by the department concerned before taking into account the lessons, and succeeded in determining the adjustment is made. Higher education institutions in the recognition of prior non-formal and formal education at an early stage. Atatürk University, and thus part of this situation is no exception. However, each semester examination is being held for the level of English language and foreign language education is recognized in this way before. Students may be exempted from these courses in the curriculum if they receive a passing grade.
Students must be successfull and/or pass all courses on the programme including graduation thesis and internship that are explained education and exam regulation of Ataturk University.

To give the theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of agricultural machinery, to take a title of engineer in the undergraduate and graduate levels, to get the professional responsibility and consciousness of environment, to gain the ability of self-development.

Graduates take professional role in establishment of many public and private sector. Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Ministry of Development, National Productivity Centre, Export Development and Study Center, Undersecretariat of Treasury, Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, Public and Private Banks, Agro-Industry Enterprises, Agricultural Cooperatives, Control and Certification Bodies, Consulting Firms in agriculture and agro-industry and non-governmental organizations. Graduates also take place in national and international rural development projects that are very much promising.
The graduates holding Bachelor’s Degree are eligible to apply to Master’s Degree programmes at national level and /or international level both in the same and in related disciplines. Students who are high honor students are also eligible to apply to doctorate degree at Ataturk University.
Continuing in undergraduate courses is compulsory at least 80% within the semester. The exams are evaluated with scores given over 100. Success grade is calculated by taking 40% of midterm exam and 60% of final exam. Success score in the undergraduate program is at least 45 points over 100 points. In the calculation of students' achievement grade, a relative evaluation system is applied. Students with a Weighted Grade Point Average less than 2.00 for two consecutive semesters can not take classes in the next semester. To be able to graduate from the Agricultural Machinery and Technologies Engineering Department, it is obligatory to take 240 ECTS unit, to prepare a dissertation and to complete a 30 working day long summer internship.In our faculty/departments normal education period is 4 years. To be able to graduate from a program a student taking all the courses and pass all, has to complete the program with a 2.00 grade point average. Grade point average is at the same time the graduation average. To continue at least 80% to the courses taught in the programme within each semester. The exams are evaluated with scores given over 100. The success grade is calculated by taking 40% of the midterm exam and 60% of the final exam.
