Coaching Education graduates work as coach and assistant coach in the amateur and professional sports clubs, the central and provincial organizations of the General Directorate of Youth and Sports, in the schools of the Ministry of Education. In addition, can work in special sports halls and teach and in organizations of sporting activities such as tourism sector. Graduates work as coach and conditioner in teams of public and private clubs and can work in organizations such as health clubs, physical fitness and wellness centers (fitness). Training time is 4 years.
First Cycle
Candidates wishing to study in our department must be succesful in special talent exam in our school. Candidates will enter the Basic Proficiency Exam (BPE) and complete each test track succesfully by applying special talent exams our school and qualifiy to study in our department according to the final result obtained by calculating BPE points and Weighted High School Achievement Points with points obtain of each test track.
Equivalence adopted by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) institutions students can register.
As described in the Education and Examination Regulations of Atatürk University, students must take and pass all course units to be successful.
Our department aims to train eligible coaches who have modern, universal values in respect of establishing a country with a healhty population having high living standarts and can practice their skills.
Our task is to introduce the professional individuals into the Turkish Sport area who have modern knowledge and can practice this knowledge, researches and questions, have social responsiblities, are respectful for human rights and keen on main principles of Turkish Republic.
Sports and coaching: 1 - In the field of sport public institutions, 2 as an administrator in sports facilities, 3 - In international and national sports organizations, 4 - In special sports corporations, 5 - sports-related organizations of local governments, 6 - Sports-related projects, 7 - In various departments sports clubs , serve as an administrator or staff member.
Upon successful completion of bachelor's degree candidates to take valid note from ALES exam and may apply graduate programs in their field or a related field.
