The program graduates will take the title of Turkish art music voice and instrument artist.
Graduates who successfully complete the program are awarded with bachelor's degree.
T. R. Citizens, graduated from high schools, not attained the age of 31 and who have received at least 150 points from the type of TOT in the YKS examination can apply the program.
Students who have taken the courses compatible with the content and credit in the higher education program that they have attended before may be exempted from those courses.
In order to qualify for study in the program, it is necessary to be successful in the Special Ability Entrance Exam which will be held by the institution before every academic year.
In this 8 semester program, there are a total of 194 hours and 153 credits including 112 hours of theoretical and 82 hours of practice. A quota for 20 students has been set for each academic year.
Graduates of the program may be academics at various universities, may be employed as voice and instrument performers in radio and television institutions as well as in the choirs of state choruses and private institutions.
Those who have successfully completed their graduate education can study at their postgraduate programs.
Students are required to take midterm and final exam for each course. The success grade is 40% for the midterm exam and 60% for the final exam. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Students who receive one of the letter grades AA, BA, BB, CB and CC are deemed to have completed that course. Students with a GPA of at least 2.00 on a semester will also be considered to be successful in the courses they take the DC letter grade. At the end of each semester, the students may take the makeup exam from the courses they fail.
In order to graduate from the program, it is necessary to be successful in all the courses in the program, with a general average of at least 2.00.
