Applicants who hold a bachelor's degree and possess an ALES score of at least 55 in the program's score type are eligible to apply. Placement is based on a minimum score of 55, calculated as 60% of the ALES score and 40% of the undergraduate graduation grade.
Exemption and adaptation procedures of students are carried out by the relevant unit management boards in accordance with the decisions of the Council of Higher Education and the Senate.
In order to obtain a master's degree, it is necessary to successfully complete the compulsory and elective courses in the program, pass the proficiency exam, and fulfill the 120 ECTS requirement by successfully defending the thesis.
The program provides postgraduate education and aims to provide students with the ability to access, compile, interpret and evaluate information using scientific research methods.
Program graduates are employed in public or private institutions and organizations depending on the qualifications they have gained.
Those who have completed their master's degree can continue their studies in doctoral programs if they meet the necessary conditions for doctoral programs.
Students must register for classes at the beginning of the semester and maintain at least 70% attendance in each registered course to be eligible for the final exam. The final grade is calculated by adding 30% of the midterm exam grade point average to 70% of the final or make-up exam grade. The minimum grade is 65 out of 100. To graduate from the program, students must take and succeed in 120 ECTS courses and other activities, have a weighted GPA of at least 2.00, and successfully complete the thesis.
Training in the program is conducted face-to-face.
